Scope and current availability

This disclosure describes the current early-test app and inspected source on 7 October 2026. Mārgadarshak supports students and parents across eleven stage choices, including Dropper / Repeater and Other / Not Sure. The app is not on the Play Store. This is an implementation disclosure for early testing, not a certification of legal compliance or complete production safeguards.

Information on your device

Profiles and preferences may include name, date of birth, stage, board, subjects, results, interests and selected goals. Relevant tools may ask for domicile, category, disability or income information when needed for a specific question. Plans, checklist answers and practice responses also use local state or storage. Shared preferences and a local plan database are present in the source. They are not an independently verified encrypted document vault.

Accounts and network processing

Guest exploration is available. Sign-in controls are currently unavailable while configuration is reviewed. A Google sign-in SDK exists in the app; if enabled it can contact Google and receive account details. Phone/email verification, production cloud backup and multi-device family sync are not connected. Opening an official source or other external link uses the destination’s own services and privacy practices.

AI and guidance updates

Career Copilot currently uses prepared responses; it does not call Claude. Connected AI assistance and official-notice extraction are planned. Before enabling those services, this disclosure must identify providers, fields transmitted, purpose, retention and controls. Private student certificates must not enter public source-ingestion or public feedback prompts.

Feedback, admin and documents

Student Voice currently provides a form/session preview, not a populated reviewed public network. Guidance Review Centre contains editor prototypes; local review or publish transitions do not establish authenticated server review or shared publication. Documents Radar is a self-check without certificate upload. A prototype proof-vault interface is not deployed secure document storage.

Students, guardians and choice

Use only information necessary for a guidance question and explain why sensitive details are requested. Local parent pairing is not proof of a guardian’s identity, consent or cross-device access control. Verifiable guardian handling, restricted access, retention and public redaction require review before connected services are released. No claim is made that these production controls are already complete.

Deletion and copies

Settings removes profile and other named records from local preferences. A separate plan database and other service stores exist; complete Settings deletion across all stores is not yet verified. For Android early testing, clearing app storage resets device-local app storage. Copies you export, OS backups, records held by an external provider or data you share elsewhere require separate handling. Website demos save no answers and do not access your app profile.

Permissions and website

The app declares internet access. No advertising or analytics SDK was identified in the reviewed app dependencies; this is not a blanket claim about future services or the operating system. Website processing is separate from the APK. Read the studio website privacy policy for website-specific practices.

Planned services and policy changes

Subscriptions, connected AI, official-source updates, cloud sync and private proof handling are planned. They must describe actual processing before activation. Version this disclosure alongside a reviewed release inventory; do not infer a privacy guarantee from a mock screen or a successful build.
