/02 Process
Every Kalinga project begins with a site visit at three times of day. We observe where light enters, where shadow rests, where air moves. The architecture follows — never the other way around.

/03 Philosophy
We use stone from the region, wood from managed forests, earth from the site itself. Every surface carries its origin — not as a concept, but as something you can touch.
The most important thing in a Kalinga space is what you don't hear. We design for acoustic calm — thick walls, planted buffers, rooms that breathe without mechanical noise.
We never present a finished plan in the first meeting. We present three spatial questions, and the answers shape a building that could not have existed without this conversation.
/04 Studio
A practice of nine — architects, craftspeople, and one structural poet who insists concrete can be gentle.
Residential
Homes that respect the way families actually live — kitchens that face the garden, verandas that catch the evening.
Cultural
Libraries, galleries, community halls — public buildings where the architecture serves the gathering, not the architect.
Commercial
Workplaces where natural light reaches every desk, and the building's energy bill is a fraction of the neighbourhood average.
Wellness
Retreats and clinics designed around calm — low ceilings where intimacy matters, high ones where breath needs room.
/05 Begin
Tell us about your site, your vision, or simply what kind of light you want to wake up to. That is all we need to begin.
